How this curtain calculation works

The target flat fabric width equals the rod span plus your total return/overlap allowance, multiplied by the chosen fullness. The result rounds up to whole panels, then to an even number when equal sides are selected, and finally to complete retail pairs when curtains are sold in pairs. This may give slightly more fullness than the target. Use the panel’s advertised flat width, not its gathered width. Header construction, stack-back, fabric weight, pattern matching, lining and finished drop are outside this count; confirm product and installer guidance before ordering.
